I was given this book as a birthday gift.
The author, Siobhan Parkinson, is Ireland's first laureate for children literature.
It is a story narrated by a 14 year old girl trying to make sense of her life where her mother committed suicide when she was only eight and now, she also had the misfortune for finding the dead body of the mother of the guy she likes.
The storyline just follows her on a her journey from the day she discovered the dead body to eventually accepting the fact the death of her mother is not her fault.
Life is a nightmare for her.
