latest read - i've got your number

I liiiike!

Sophie Kinsella never fails to tell a good story and I love subtle British comedy. Once I start, I can't stop.
Her shopaholic series were getting quite predictable and dull actually so it's quite nice to have a storyline that's different.
But having said that, the storyline of this is rather predictable too but what makes it appealing is the way at which is the story unfolds.

Thanks my dear friend for gifting this to me. :-)

From Feb 2012 to Sept 2012 (fraser's hill, F1 2012 etc.)

Ayooo... what happened? I totally forgot to update since February 2012 until today.

Ok, ok... Malas to write too much, so it's a series of picture. And of course, being Hana-obsessed, time is dictated by her development and cuteness!

February 2012

Sun, 5th Feb to Mon, 6th Feb:
Family trip to Fraser's Hill

March 2012

Friday, 23rd March to Sunday, 25th March 2012:
F1 2012

Qualifying

Heavy rain during the race which was eventually black flagged

I can't believe they actually have a "khemah" for the cars!! And all the teams ada pulak tu!!
Even the drivers do not have tents for themselves. They have to leave their cars and seek protection elsewhere.

Sunset along the long straight

Hana's 4th birthday on the 24th of March 2012
Hud's 2nd birthday on the 31st of March 2012

Hana's Barbie cake and Hud's Nemo cake.

April 2012

The arrival of Haniya Sarah Harris on 8th April 2012

Of course this is not Haniya! It's just cutie Hana on my bed.

May 2012

Showing off her colouring work. Pretty nice but gah, required a lot of hoaxing and forcing!

June 2012

Trying out a pirate hat
@ Chilli's KLCC

 July 2012

Alamak... no picture...
Tried out the new walkway that takes you from KLCC to Pavilion. Impressive!
And most importantly, air-conditioned! Excellent...

August 2012

@ Isetan KLCC where she wanted to try out this hat.

19th August:
Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
First year we did not balik kampung but instead opted to stay home.
Well, I was with princess all day.
BEST RAYA EVER!

My 1st Gucci

What I like from Gucci are things I still cannot afford.. yet!

Salivating over the Gucci website, I found these:

So I was thrilled when I found these since I really, really needed to update my Coach wallet which I had been using since December 2007.

Now was the question of which one. That took me a good two days to decide and finally, after much thought and also opinions from different people, I made my choice. And the winner is....

YAY!!!

It's gucci.com exclusive wallet and cannot be found elsewhere, thus automatically making it tres chic, distinctive and unique! Haha!

It came on Friday, 7th September 2012 and yes, immediate wallet change ensued.

The raspberry colour is really rich and vibrant and I'm super happy with my decision.
Super happy!

My 1st Louis Vuitton

I can still remember vividly thinking to myself that carrying an LV handbag with it's signature canvas print is just trying to sell the brand a little too much.

And what has happened now?

Dang it!

I find myself with one.

It's an Estrela GM at Euro1010.

Oh well... It's a big spacious bag that I'm very happy with. So... whatever lah!

It landed into my hands on Tuesday, 7th August 2012 and me being me, used it immediately without hesitation. No such thing as "sayang, sayang" business. I paid good money to use it, and use it well, I will.

latest read - the story of beautiful girl

Three love stories in one:
1. Love of a girl (Lynnie) with developmental disability for an African American deaf mute man (Homan)
2. Love of a girl for her daughter she only held on the day the baby was borned
3. Love of an elderly lady (Martha) who have always wanted children but couldn't for a baby girl (later named Julia) left to her on one stormy night.

After the stormy night at which Lynnie had to leave the baby girl in the hands of Martha, the story breaks off to elaborate on the development of each character and their journeys.
Martha passed on after doing a brilliant job mothering Julia until her adulthood.
Lynnie eventually reunited with Homan.
and
Julia too, finally, found her way to her birth mother in the end.
