latest read - tell the wolves i'm home

I felt my eyes weld up with tears at some parts of this book and that's when I know this is a book to remember.
The premise of this book if quite simple - a teenage girl coming to terms with the lost a most beloved uncle.  However, deep down she is actually struggling to accept her conflicting emotions and realization that she was in love with her own uncle. To a certain degree, that kind of love is quite disturbing but it is love nonetheless. This love that is felt is in no way sexual. It is the finding of someone who understands you and sees you better than anyone can or has ever.
It's a coming of age story as well between June and her older sister, Greta.

I don't know why it took me so long just to finish this book.
