| Awkward part 2... |
| After race |
This year's race ended with controversy for team Red Bull whose driver, Sebastian Vettel defied team orders from the pit wall to hold station overtook his team mate, Mark Webber and win the race. Meanwhile over at Mercedes, the same team orders were given to Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg but no such defiance and arrogance or selfishness was demonstrated by Nico but Lewis felt that Nico should have taken the 3rd place on podium. So, yeah, it was one super awkward podium presentation this year and it was very noticeable as plain as the nose on your face.
Of course I didn't know the full extend of the controversy until I caught the replay of the race on tv. But from Webber's body language and also his comment on Vettel namely "In the end Seb made his own decisions today and will have protection as usual and that’s the way it goes." while being interviewed at the podium was a clear indicators that something huge was going on.
I would say that the good thing about this controversy is that people will keep on talking about this race and mentioning Malaysian GP. Thus free publicity for SIC and the Malaysian GP. That's a good thing for the future of the race here in Malaysia.
